Refund/Exchange Policy for Island Gift Nook

We all shop online and sometimes we decide we need to return or exchange something. 

Please review our policy below.


Returns 

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return unused merchandise in its original packaging with all the original tags.  The item must be in the same condition that you received it.  All returns must be received back at our store within 30 days of the sale, no exceptions.

Additionally, some items may not be eligible for a refund.  We will not accept back any food or Health and Beauty related products.  Items purchased on sale or clearance are non- returnable.  Books or any other goods with obvious signs of use or not in the original packaging.  Items with any seal or cover broken cannot be returned.

Once your item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.  We will also notify you of the approval or disapproval of your refund.  Merchandise that does not meet our return criteria will either be refused a refund or assessed up to a 50% restocking fee.

Any unauthorized return and/or package you refuse for delivery is subject to the outbound shipping charges and up to a 50% restocking fee, both of which will be deducted from any refund.  COD or freight returns will be refused.  Order shipping costs are not refundable.  Final refund approval is solely the decision of Island Gift Nook.


Arrived Damaged

If a product you received arrived damaged, please contact us for further instructions.  You may be requested to submit a photo of the damaged item and the shipping box or mailer.  


Wrong Product

If you think we have made a mistake and sent you an item that you did not order, please contact us so that we can arrange to return and reship the correct item.



Returning Your Package

Pack the item into a shipping box or mailer with sufficient packing material and tape it securely.  

Clearly print the address on the outside of the package and include a copy of the return authorization email.

We strongly suggest that your return the package with insurance and tracking information.  We will not accept responsibility for misdirected, lost or damaged returns.  The original shipping costs to you are nonrefundable and will be deducted from any refund.  The costs to ship the item back is your responsibility and will not be refunded.
